Geraldine Dulex
Géraldine made the leap across the ocean to study at Northwestern University, where she earned her B.A. in Theatre and International Studies. Making her way in the Chicago theatre world Géraldine found herself in the alley at Trap Door, spent a magical night at the theatre and has not left since. Her first appearance on the Trap Door stage was as Gabi in Fassbinder’s The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. Other Trap Door credits include Emma directed by Kate Hendrickson and The Statue that Doesn’t Lie for the Bucktown Arts Festival. Géraldine has also appeared at the Prop Thtr, the Apollo Studio Theatre with the Oasis Project, the Gorilla Tango Theatre with TakenOva Productions, as well as in ECC’s Bus Stop directed by Trap Door’s Beata Pilch. She worked with multimedia artist Catherine Sullivan on her latest piece Triangle of Need which is opening in various cities around the world. This summer Géraldine will be performing her one-woman Show Fawn at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Swiss based Strings Attached and she can soon be seen in Steppenwolf’s upcoming production of Dead Man’s Cell Phone. www.geraldinedulex.com
