Zsófia Ötvös

Zsófia has been thrilled to design makeup for Trap Door Theater’s stage and multi media productions since 2006. Among many The Crazy Locomotive, The Fourth Sister and Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. She is particularly happy to collaborate with Trap Door where the focus on character provides a ground for extreme expressions, which has been a wellspring of inspiration for her art.

Original from Hungary, Zsofia has been in the United Sates since 1994. While earning her BA degree in art she got involved with theater doing scenic design and makeup. The last decade she has been pursuing her art carrier along with makeup design.
